Operating Procedure for Belt Filter Press
1.Preparation work
a.Please read this manual carefully and understand the operating procedures and methods described to proficiently operate the dehydrator and its assembly components.
b.Check whether the belt filter press and its components are completely in good condition,and confirm that there are no other debris remaining on the filter cloth and rollers.
c.Check the gearbox oil level.
d.Check if the position of the filter cloth is correct.
e.Check if the scraper is in proper contact with the filter cloth.
f.Check if the tension of the upper and lower filter cloth is appropriate and adjust it to the appropriate tension.
g.Check the air compressor and adjust the air pressure of the machine.
2.Start working
a.Activate the control valve of the air storage tank of the air compressor and send pressurized air into the air pressure control unit.
b.Adjust the air pressure to set the tension of the filter cloth.When pre adjusting,be careful not to let the tension telescopic frame touch the frame.
c.Gently move the filter cloth offset sensing device by hand to check if the cylinder will operate normally.Additionally,test if the emergency stop switch function is functioning properly.
d.Start the filter cloth washing pump and check if the water volume and pressure of the pump meet the requirements(water pressure:4kg/cm2)
e.Next,start the belt filter press and check if all equipment is functioning properly.
f.Start the sludge supply pump.
g.If the filter cloth deviates and cannot return to its normal position,please stop running immediately.
h.Remember that if the tension on the filter cloth is not properly maintained,the filter cloth offset control system may not function properly.
3.Stop working
a.Turn off the sludge supply pump.
b.Next,let the belt filter press run for at least 20 minutes.While the belt filter press is still running,the filter cloth washing pump and sludge conveying device should continue to operate until the residual sludge can completely detach from the belt filter press and wash the filter cloth.
c.After confirming that the sludge cake has completely detached from the belt filter press,and that the filter cloth and rollers have been cleaned,turn off the belt filter press,washing pump,and waste cake conveying device.
Attention:After stopping the operation,if there is a long period of time without operating the belt filter press,please relax the tension of the filter cloth.(Do not forget to adjust the tension of the filter cloth before restarting).
