A shaftless screw conveyor generally consists of five parts:the conveyor body,the inlet and outlet,the driving device,the transmission mechanism,and the support legs;Spiral blades come in three forms:solid helical surfaces,belt helical surfaces,and blade helical surfaces.Among them,blade helical surfaces are relatively less commonly used and are mainly used for conveying materials with high viscosity and compressibility.This spiral suspended surface type also has the functions of mixing and blending materials during the conveying operation.
Applicable industries
Axial screw conveyor is suitable for non viscous dry powder materials and small particle materials(such as cement,fly ash,lime,grain,etc.).
The shaftless screw conveyor is suitable for conveying granular and powdery materials,wet and paste like materials,semi fluid and viscous materials,materials that are prone to entanglement and blockage,etc.
